Maoam Pinballs and Millions bring the same idea up to date, and Hi-Chew brings in the Japanese version, which is softer and far fruitier than anything British.

There is a sugar free option too: sugar free fruit salad chews, made by Stockley's in Lancashire. Most of the chews here are also retro sweets.

Everything here is sold by the 100g scoop. Five scoops make a 500g pick and mix pouch at £8.99, ten make a 1kg pouch at £14.99, or pick nine for the nine-compartment sweet tray.
